Jim Errington appointed as Managing Director EMEA Glovia International
The management team of Glovia International EMEA has recently gone through some changes. As of April 1st, Jim Errington holds the position of Managing Director EMEA. In this role Jim will oversee the business in both Glovia International BV and Glovia International UK.
Mr. Errington follows Ben Van Eck, who has retired as Managing Director Glovia International BV. Mr. Van Eck was responsible for all of Glovia International's business in Europe including sales, operations and international product and market strategy since 1986, when he began with the company. To ensure a smooth transition, Ben has agreed to continue working with us as a consultant in several key areas during fiscal year 2009.
Jim Errington has over 30 years of experience working in the IT industry as both an IT Executive and Business and IT Consultant. Previously, Mr. Errington was Director of Sales Support for both the US and UK.
Mr. Errington first joined Glovia in 1990 as a pre-sales consultant concentrating on acquiring new business. With a focus on new named business he helped to acquire major accounts in the UK, most notable being Ericsson and Caterpillar. Before joining Glovia International, Mr. Errington held positions with British Coal, Black & Decker and the BTR group.
